At fishmonger Leidscherijn in Utrecht we were allowed to install our entire product range. The first step was to install digital menu boards, on which they wanted to present their range of fried fish products, fish dishes and other delicacies via various sheets. After product photos were shot and edited on location, we processed the images into a super clear visual spectacle. The presentation, as it is constructed, makes customers’ mouths water and provides a clear image of the product range.
To address the staff shortage, fishmonger Leidsherijn opted for convenience and recently had our order kiosk installed. This digital order column shows their entire range and their customers can easily and quickly put together their order and pay via pin, QR code or cash to an employee.

In order to process orders quickly and correctly, the orders are printed on a receipt printer and displayed in real time on the workstation in the kitchen. All orders are received at this workstation, they can check off order lines and assign statuses to the order. This last component is also linked to their narrowcasting broadcast, where we have displayed an order status bar in the broadcast. Here, customers can keep an eye on their order themselves and the employees no longer have to shout around when an order is ready.
The order kiosk has been running for a few weeks now and has become an indispensable part of this company. The owner indicates that a kind of peace has developed in the store and that the employees have much more time to produce orders and replenish products in the display case. Where their customers used to have to wait until they were helped by an employee, they now order at their leisure at the order kiosk.
