Education

Narrowcasting is an effective communication system to communicate with students and teachers. In education, one or more narrowcasting screens can be hung throughout the school. For example, at the entrance of the school to communicate timetable changes to students, to show bus stop times and NS departure times so that you don’t miss the bus or train, to draw attention to important announcements and, for example, to show the weather forecast and rain radar.

In the staff room, narrowcasting can be used to display an Office365 agenda, play news videos from NU.nl and show other light-hearted content that makes breaks even more pleasant.

In the school canteen you can show the menu with the prices and certain offers. Do you have a changing menu? Then that is easy and quick to change with our software. With a narrowcasting system you can publish the right content in the right place and is easy to keep up-to-date.

Narrowcasting screens are also ideal for such purposes because they stand out more than print media and you save a lot of time with this. We can also link to software such as Zermelo via our API. Here we read out the timetable changes, for example, so that these can be presented to the students and teachers in the broadcast.

The problem or solution for a smartphone-less school is not simple, how do you inform the student? What do you do with timetable changes? The old-fashioned piece of paper at the janitor is no longer an option. Students always expect fast and up-to-date information. Links with a timetable system such as Zermelo or Magister have the possibility to share this information.

In our solution we currently have 3 types of templates: current schedule, schedule changes and exam schedule.
