Narrowcasting at Fletcher Hotels

For the hotel chain Fletcher Hotels we are the supplier of all narrowcasting solutions that are applied within the hotels. The screens are installed in the lobbies, at the receptions, in the elevators, parking garages and at other places in the hotels and are thus used effectively to optimally inform the hotel visitors.

Organizational structure
All hotels are segmented into 3 categories, blue, black and blue wellness and in addition to this segmentation they also have categories of restaurants that differ per hotel. We have set up our software in such a way that each hotel is linked to the same segmentation. In this way, content can be added very simply and quickly, which is then immediately visible in the hotels that belong to it.

Within this structure, ‘Fletcher Hotels head office’ is the parent organization and all individual hotels also have their own sub-organization. This way, every hotel manager has access to his own hotel environment, but can only add content that has been prepared by the head office. The content is different per hotel, where a hotel is black, blue or blue and has its own restaurant category, they also have rooms for which room references must be shown. In addition to this content, other content is also shown per hotel, such as an informative video about the hotel, the weather, traffic and bus/train departure times, etc.

Add content
There are a number of options for adding content from the main level within the Fletcher Hotels environment:

  • A folder structure has been created based on all categories, where each category has a folder. When these folders are provided with images or videos, they are immediately displayed on the screens in the hotels. Here they also have the possibility to schedule the images and videos.
  • Various templates have been developed, with which moving pages can be added simply and quickly. Here only the text fields and images need to be filled in and our software ensures that this is displayed in the house style of Fletcher Hotels. Here they can select when and in which hotels or groups of hotels the content should be displayed and our software ensures that this content is displayed at the correct date/time and locations.
  • From the main level, the marketing department can log in to each hotel, where they can also add hotel-specific content. For example, think of an offer that only applies to that hotel.

Because efficiency and time saving are extremely important, links with external systems are an added value. For example, we have developed various links that are a great added value for the daily business in the hotel.

  • Shiji PMS
    Shiji is a software package that is being rolled out across Fletcher. This software package is a management tool that registers everything in the hotel, from bookings, stocks to room reservations. We have created a link with Shiji and are now also an officially certified partner. This link ensures that all room references are automatically displayed from Shiji on the screens in the hotel, so this content is always up-to-date.
  • Marviaunder development
    This software package is a tool that allows hotels to place marketing expressions on social media, their website and also the screens in their hotel. Content is prepared here from the head office and the hotel managers can then design and place it themselves. Marvia is linked to our API and this ensures that when a hotel manager chooses from Marvia to place the content on the screens, this is automatically done correctly by our software.
